David Lim is an American actor, model, and entrepreneur best known for his eight-season run as Officer Victor Tan on CBS’s hit drama S.W.A.T. Appearing in more than 150 episodes, he became a familiar face to millions—bringing grounded action, heart, and humanity to one of network television’s most popular procedurals.

Before joining S.W.A.T., David recurred as CIA recruit Sebastian Chen on ABC’s thriller Quantico. His other television credits include roles on Supergirl, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Criminal Minds, 90210, and more.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, David earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego before pivoting to entertainment. He began his career with Ford Models and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time.

In addition to his on-screen work, David is the co-founder of Maya David, a jewelry brand he launched with his wife, Marketa. The line reflects their shared love of design, craftsmanship, and meaning—each piece thoughtfully created by hand in their Los Angeles studio.

Outside of work, David enjoys traveling, staying active, playing basketball, and spending time with Marketa and their dog, Miles.
