David Lim is a Chinese-American actor, model, and entrepreneur best known for his series regular role as Officer Victor Tan on CBS’s hit drama S.W.A.T. Over eight seasons and more than 150 episodes, he’s become a familiar face to millions — bringing heart, action, and humanity to one of network TV’s most beloved procedurals.

Before joining S.W.A.T., David had a standout recurring role as CIA recruit Sebastian Chen on ABC’s thriller Quantico. His other television credits include Supergirl, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Criminal Minds, 90210, and more.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, David earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego before pivoting to a career in entertainment — signing with Ford Models and moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting.

In addition to his work on screen, David is the co-founder of Maya David, a jewelry brand he launched with his wife, Marketa, inspired by their shared love of design, craftsmanship, and meaning.

Outside of acting, he enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with his wife and their dog, Miles.
